This beautifully appointed Lagoon 56, AMAZING LADY, was built in 2015 and has modern appointments. There’s a large, teak, walk-in cockpit with stairs to a flybridge with bar and lounge. The cockpit has an emormous dining table with long stem wine glasses and indoor/outdoor living….The sliding glass doors to the saloon can be kept open, while the AC is going, and the crew do run the AC all night….there are controls in the four double guest cabins, which can either be four Queen cabins or the crew will give up their upper and lower bunk bed cabin and swap with guests, if children are involved. The saloon is a handsome modern compartment with gray tweed upholstery with blue and white sail boat throw cushions. It shares a space with the galley and second folding dining table. Roland and Vanessa Verster from South Africa completed 16 weeks of charter aboard AMAZING LADY last year. Roland introduces children to fishing and kayaking and has a dinghy with 60 hp outboard, which is a bonus for watersports, because it is powerful enough to pull people. Waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing, two sea scooters, two stand up paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkling gear are all offered. Vanessa does lots of outdoor grilling; she and Roland stay active on charter, offering hiking on islands, treasure hunts for children. Guests select from a variet of options daily. SCUBA diving is offered for $200 a week per certified diver. This includes the rental of equipment from dive companies ashore. Roland and Vanessa both are dive masters and dive with guests. The Virgin Islands offer loads of diving from intereting reefs to caves to swim throughs. The crew love to dive. The sleeping cabins on AMAZING LADY are beautiful and upscale. Two are particularly bright and airy with glass hatch access into the cockpit, and the other two queen cabins have beds that face windows looking out to sea. The master cabin has in-room shower and private WC. The yacht supplies fine shampoos, lotions, and products.
