The owner of the 66’ Oyster cutter sloop COLOMBO BREEZ has owned many yachts, but he’s kept COLOMBO BREEZ the longest – 12 years to be exact. This is because these Oyster 66s are strongly built, comfortable, high quality yachts that are ideally suited for Lower Caribbean cruising.  COLOMBO BREEZ is available all over the Caribbean during 2017 from St. Maarten to the Grenadines, and to Panama’s San Blas Islands during the Summer. Young “old-timers” Steve and Julie King (ex-AMULET) have been plying these waters for upwards of forty years and know the islands well. Julie is a gourmet chef, and Steve is a West Indian history buff. COLOMBO BREEZ just completed a year and a half refit in Costa Rica. New electrics, new generator, and new decks were installed. The vessel is in top condition. There are many amenities aboard. The large, walk-in cockpit has bimini awning, weather curtains, teak floors, and dining table. The spacious saloon has a companionway to a navigation station, then stairs to the saloon with galley opposite and lots of headroom. Beautiful sky blue settees surround a large teak dining table in the saloon, and the paneling is hand-rubbed teak. Sleeping four adults and two children in two staterooms forward, one with narrow double and the other with upper and lower single bunks, and one cabin aft, a full beam master with King, the yacht is perhaps better suited for four guests, even though six can be accommodated, as the crew have their own stateroom as well. The three guest staterooms share two bathrooms. All the sports equipment is new, including the dinghy, a 14’ inflatable with 25 hp outboard. Snorkeling and fishing gear are offered. This is a great yacht for cruising the Lower Caribbean with fine hosts!
