LONDON SKY is one of the most elegantly appointed, eight berth, Lagoon 62s, and her galley is not located in the saloon, so the entire main saloon is devoted to guests’ comfort. Two, white, leather, U-shaped settees surround an ottoman and two coffee tables and face each other with shining, silver, sparkly, textured throw cushions. A white scatter rug warms up the wood floors. There’s a silver model whale, white and silver framed art, and a Pewter starfish. The saloon opens through glass doors to an aft teak cockpit with dark gray cockpit cushions on settees that surround a dining table and which stretch out thwart ship along the aft end of the yacht. Two deck beds are located outboard of the settees. Modern, chrome, deck chairs pull up to the dining table, which has gray and white marble top. A stairway leads up to the enormous fly bridge with deck bed, plus a second lounge settee that also fills in with cushions, and there is a long wide bench settee along the aft end as well. There is plenty of room for eight people to find comfortable seating up there. Each of the four queen beds face windows in the hull that look out to sea. Two cabins are in each of the pontoons forward; the third is amidships to starboard, and the fourth is aft to starboard, a really sunny bedroom with glass hatch that opens into the cockpit. Sweet smelling, each cabin has Satellite TV, movies on demand, and private bathroom with stall shower and electric heads, and a safe. During the boat show, Susanna the stewardess set up one guest cabin for day, another with lights dimmed for evening, and another showed off the color therapy lighting. For children and sports enthusiasts, LONDON SKY has a custom water slide that starts from the fly bridge, so children can shoot down the slide and splash into the water. Captain Ryan Spence is happy to keep guests active with sports activities by day. Ryan and Maroussia the chef, a team for three years, have been aboard LONDON SKY since her beginning eighteen months ago in 2015. A stewardess rounds out this great team of three.
