The 100′ modern, auxiliary, sailing yacht, PENELOPE could easily be considered one of the most elegant yachts afloat. Available from Palma, St. Tropez, and Corsica for Summer 2017, she is a wonderful option for families of six to eight or three couples for a cruise in the Western Mediterranean, as two of her three Queen cabins convert to Twins and have Pullmans, and all have private bathrooms. Her chef Courtney has trained at The Grange Cookery School in Somerset, England; her British captain started sailing at the age of 5 and now has a 500 ton license; there’s a stewardess and deckhand as well, and the yacht has some availability left for the summer. The wind blows gently and warmly in the Mediterranean during the summer, and what better way to relax and rewind than in the caring hands of this experienced capable crew, while exploring quaint towns and turquoise bays along the South coast of France.

- € 50,000 plus all expenses
Robert Lloyd was introduced to sailing from the age of 5. Beginning as so many do, on the optimists, before progressing to pico and lasers at Hawley Lake Training centre. Sailing continued as a hobby at school which involved inter school regattas on occasion.
This hobby turned professional in 2007 when Robert completed two successful flotilla seasons in the Greek Ionian. Liking the idea of a hobby being worked as a means of employment, He turned his attention to bigger yachts whilst traveling in New Zealand.
Robert began his yachting career on an Oyster 82′ as a mate and quickly learnt what it would take in this line of work. Following this he spent four exciting and adventurous years on board a 175′ modern classic, where he cruised the Pacific, Chilean fjords, Southern Ocean, Mediterranean, Caribbean and North America. The opportunity arose to complete his Chief Mates ticket and assume the role of 1st Officer, and more recently he acquired his Master 500.
Courtney is from the small rural town of Marton, New Zealand. Growing up on the water back home Courtney combined her love of this and her inner adventurer and took to Europe in search of work on yachts early 2012. 5 years down the line she has worked in the interiors of both sail and motor yachts of various sizes. Beginning her yacht career as a stewardess, Courtney then found it an obvious choice to transition into the galley full time after attending The Grange Cookery School in Somerset, England. Being brought up in a family owned bar and restaurant she has always grown up around the heat and hype of a busy kitchen.
She too, like Robert, has been fortunate enough to visit some amazing destinations off the beaten track. Courtney loves immersing herself into new environments and cultures and especially thrives on sampling new flavours and cuisines to incorporate these in her dishes. Outside the galley Courtney is a keen diver, she enjoys a good hit on the tennis court and loves to entertain friends and family with delicious home cooked food.

Cameron has chosen to be a yacht engineer to enjoy his two passions for the ocean and mechanics. At a young age he was introduced to high performance V8 motors and motor-cycles. Prior to his career on yachts Cameron worked in telecommunications and conservation for 10 years.
Being the engineer aboard Penelope allows him to travel and care for a beautiful yacht. He loves to teach and eager to take on new challenges. Adventure comes from deep within him. What better way to do this, other than by crossing the oceans of the world and doing what he loves at the same time.
Penelope is a performance orientated hull shape from Dubois, powered by a sport rig, carbon spars and North Sails Spectra Carbon sails, achieves outstanding performance even in the lightest of winds.
Penelope offers a class-leading amount of usable living space. Stepping on board for the first time you are immediately struck by the spacious, flush deck and overwhelmed by the incredible amount of interior volume. The accommodation layout offers three staterooms located aft of the saloon. The master cabin has a king sized bed and a private en-suite shower and head. The two family/guest staterooms have two large single beds, which are fitted on slide rails which can be pushed together to form a large double bed. A third fold down bed is also available. Each has a private head and shower.
A raised saloon offers a panoramic view and leads forward and down to a more intimate lounge and separate dining area. Forward of the main living area is the crew galley and two crew cabins.
