Available for the America’s Cup in June, 2017 in Bermuda, and then in New England for the Summer of 2017 and offering exceptional sailing performance, SEDNA was built with the highest specifications to offer maximum comfort to all her guests. She has elegant interior facilities and a beautiful outside layout guaranteeing guests an amazing time on board. Available for the America’s Cup at $45,000 per week with a two week minimum.
One of my favorite yachts at the Antigua charter yacht show 2016, the 82’ Swan sloop, SEDNA is a stand out among charter yachts in New England and the Caribbean, largely because of her three British crew. Extremely likeable, Captain Rob Foxall grew up sailing dinghies and raced competitively through school and university; Jane is a most creative chef, who happens to be a silversmith and goldsmithy. Her hor d’oeurves were beautiful during the boat show, as well as her luncheon menu for brokers. She is an artist; she excels in presentation. Young Daniel the first mate and sailor worked as a wine merchant for six years and has certifications in wine tasting. These three exude professionalism and are just exactly what you would expect aboard a luxury yacht of this size.
Maintained in mint condition, SEDNA has a comfortable cockpit where all the racing lines lead aft to the crew cockpit in the stern. Designed for sailing performance, guests can sit comfortably undisturbed at sea on two U-shaped settees that face each other around a folding teak dining table under a sailing Bimini, while the crew sail the yacht from the stern. Guests are welcome to help with the sailing.
SEDNA’s attractively appointed interior consists of a full beam saloon amidships with dining table to starboard and lounge to port, a full beam master cabin aft with centerline king and ensuite bathroom, plus two identical twin cabins, one with Pullman, and each with private bathroom, but only one has a stall shower; the other is a telephone shower. The VIP Double is forward with wet head also, but all the cabins have TV, air conditioning, crisp white linens, and colorful throw cushions. Jane’s galley is forward to starboard with two fridges, chest freezer, ice maker, lots of counter space, stainless steel appliances. Crew cabins are in the foc’sle.
SEDNA is well equipped with Audio Visual Equipment and Communication equipment. You will find speakers in the spreaders, ideal for use at sea; surround sound in the main saloon; Iridium SATCOM and boosters for internet at sea. The cockpit has bimini awnings, teak decks, out of door dining, deck fridge – gorgeous!
SEDNA is Antigua-based, but she will sail anywhere. During the summer months she charters in New England.
