SLIVOCHKA – What do you do with an art degree?  You get a job on a charter yacht.  Chef Gi from Mozambique aboard the luxury 59’ Fountain Pajot catamaran SLIVOCHKA does not have an art degree, but she is an artist.  She garnishes her dishes beautifully, using all manner of color, textures, and shapes.  She extends this skill to setting the dining table and making up the guest cabins, creating beautiful ambiances.  The master cabin plus three guest Queen cabins all have white cotton spreads with gray sheets and gray wool throw blankets – they are gorgeous!  Similarly, the cockpit table has gray table cloth, black napkins, stainless steel napkin holders, plus starfish and stones objects d’art – beautiful!  Dylan, the captain, bearded, 30s, attractive, is a dive master and leads guests on underwater safaris around the BVI.

Dylan and Gi love children!  Gi says, “We love to have children aboard! For our younger kids we set up a kiddies kingdom in their cabin, filled with an array of toys, activities and games. Equally we have many household name board game, puzzles, ping pong and interests for our more mature guests.”  By the age of 16, Gi was already leading guests on Safari tours of her homeland Mozambique.  She is an impressive young lady, and Dylan is attractive…..

Nothing is too much for this young couple.  Here are more of their offerings aboard SLIVOCHKA:

We are equipped with:

– Barista set up with a superb coffee machine.
– 2 outdoor ice boxes filled with drinks to choose from.
– Outdoor full service bar with exciting cocktails (and virgin cocktails) to choose from.
– Outdoor bar fridge and ice machine.
– Ping-pong table
– High quality Cannon 7D to capture your special moments with ALL of you in the picture.
– USB to take home all the pictures with you.
– Outdoor portable waterproof speaker system to take ashore or in the tender.

With lounge to port and galley to starboard, SLIVOCHKA’s saloon is decorated with trays of tropical fruit, flowers, stainless steel jugs of infused water and juice.

In addition to the decorated dining table, the cockpit has an enormous deck bed aft that’s semi under the shade, semi in the sun….  “Weather curtains create shade where need it,” says Dylan.  Dylan and Gi serve 90% of their meals out here.  The cockpit has teak decks.

All the Queen beds in the four, air conditioned guest cabins face widows in the hull, so guests can see out.  All the beds are centrally located in the room, comfortable for guests.  All have USB ports, all have organic reef friendly products; Saloon has TV with Netflix.  The master stateroom has a couch and is larger than the guest cabins, suitable for families.  I gather the showers in the two forward guest cabins may be semi-wet showers, as they have shower stalls…..

The fourth cabin aft to starboard is smaller than the other cabins, but the beds are all identical in size – Queens.

Gi and Dylan have operated SLIVOCHKA in the Virgin Islands for three charter seasons now.  Winter 2020 will be their fourth.  Dressed in blue shorts and gray top, they are poised and present.

“Bow awnings make a huge difference,” says Dylan.  “We put them up as soon as we anchor.  Bean bags move around.

They have an eight man floating island.  Inflating it each time, Dylan says, “It’s the most popular toy onboard.”  They also have two stand up paddle boards, two kayaks, trampolines, waterskis, kneeboard and scurfer.  “Our tender is a 15 footer with 70 hp outboard.”

The fly bridge on SLIVOCHKA is basic but it has a couch, nonetheless, and sun pad.  The yacht seems to be quite a sailor.

Gi has a drinks blackboard on the bar in the cockpit, listing all the drinks offered.   Pina coladas are offered.

The yacht charters for $23,000 to $26,500 weekly all inclusive for two to eight guests year round, except summer rates are reduced to $21,000 to $24,500 weekly.  They will be going down island in late July, 2020 and would love to get a charter going down and another coming back in late August!  Charter rates will be tweaked for Grenadine Island charters.  Furnished on request, they’ll mostly be at low season rates.  $33,000 weekly for Christmas and $35,000 weekly for New Year, starting on or after December 27th. Fully flexible itinerary to suit guests’ preferences and focus.
