This is an excellent, 89′ motor yacht, available in Greece for two couples. The yacht has large, full beam, guest cabins, each with California King and air conditioning for two couples, plus two additional Twin cabins that convert to double beds with filler for two additional couples or families of eight, and each twin cabin also has an upper foldaway Pullman berth for additional people up to ten…. All have private ensuite bathroom, gorgeous white duvets and linens, and the master and VIP cabins each have dressing rooms as well. The master cabin has Satellite TV.
As well, the yacht received a refit during the winter of 2020, so she is looking good for Summer 2020! Details of her refit are below. The best part of the refit includes the many new coats of varnish on all her interior walls. The yacht shines! She looks fantastic!
Finally, the yacht’s crew of four Panos, Eva, Dinos, and Kostas, are as nice as they be. Aboard to give “all the services to their guests”, they clean cabins daily for guests; when the yacht arrives at a new port each day, the crew prepare lunch. Chef Dinos is excellent, the stewardess Eva, who showed me around in May 2019 told me. And Captain Panos and first mate Kostos keep all the systems going.
When I inspected the yacht in May, 2019, the mirror in the saloon had the word ‘romance’ written on it. Breakfast had been set up on the buffet in the saloon, and the table on the aft deck was set for out of door dining. There is a TV in the saloon and master cabin with Satellite cable channels. Cushions in the comfortable deck saloon said, “Philosophy is the highest music.” Forward of the saloon is a day head, galley, steering station, and chart table. The galley is small, but Dinos manages very well in it, despite the size of it. It’s possible that guests end up taking a lot of meals ashore, when they see the size of it, but I ate a wonderful breakfast aboard this yacht in May 2018, so I know first hand what elaborate feasts are served there. Above the saloon is a spacious fly bridge with large deck bed and a grill for “our famous Greek nights,” Eva said.
90′ yachts don’t often carry two jet skis aboard, but THIS IS MINE does. The yacht carries not one but two jet skis for the enjoyment of guests, plus there is a large tender, Sea Bobs, water ski equipment, snorkeling gear, and much more. The list is below.
The yacht is based in Athens for cruises out to the Cyclades or to the Peloponesus Peninsula (or a combination of both, depending on weather), or it’s possible to visit the Sporades, or it’s possible to visit the Ionian islands – Corfu, Zakynthos, etc – through the Corinth Canal. The yacht has a cruising speed of 25 knots, consuming 600 litres per hour. In addition to the charter fee of EUR 33,000 and EUR 36,000 weekly (depending on month), It’s customary to collect a 30% APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) to cover fuel, food, bar, and dockage, which are not included in the charter fee, which are sold at cost price. It’s likely this budget is enough to cover breakfast and lunch aboard, but not the evening meal, although the evening meal is available aboard, whenever guests want; chefs provision at each island they visit. Food, fuel, bar, and dockage are sold at price. The captain keeps receipts and settles the APA bill with guests at the end of the cruise. It’s customary to tip the crew. 15% of the charter fee is suggested. 12% Greek VAT tax is also extra.
Refurbished the tender
Re-varnish table in the aft deck
Interior refreshments – new paintings
New inflatable toys (tubes, sofa)
1 extra water-maker
Winter engine maintenance
Rates – EUR 36,000 weekly during July and August, 2020 & EUR 33,000 weekly during May, June, September & October + 12% VAT TAX + 30% APA + Gratuity (10%-15% of the charter fee is suggested)
