The 2002 built, 59 ft. Privilege catamaran ULA with navy blue hull has highly varnished wood in the saloon that is reminiscent of a classic sailing yacht from the Olden Days. Her main saloon is a lounge/dining room with bar with teak and holly cabin sole, cream-colored leather settees and pink, blue, and lime green throw cushions that are stunning. When I inspected the yacht, the crew Paul and Tanya kept the sliding glass door between the cockpit and the saloon open, despite the air conditioning, so we could enjoy indoor/out door living…. The walk-in teak cockpit has a shining varnished table, navy blue and white striped throw cushions, two deck beds that are outboard of the settees, and a bench settee along the stern with pink color-coordinated throw cushions. It is lovely! The saloon has a varnished coffee bar/wet bar with curved counter. All the beds in the three double cabins are King-sized! They are beautifully appointmented with lots of AC and indirect lighting. The galley and crew quarters are forward. That’s right; there is no galley in the saloon. Wide hallways! Lots of varnish! Varnished tray ceiling in the saloon! Great showers with full body jets! Chrome port hole mirrors! Three equal Kings. Paul and Tanya are from Ireland and London respectively. Pretty Tanya served a lunch for brokers during the show of chilled pea soup with parmesan ice cream, as well as organic salmon, filled with Asian/Caribbean fusion, plus caramelized plums with basil cream. She had written the menu down on a chalk board in the saloon…. Guest reviews confirm how beautifully plated are the meals and how delicious. Beautiful classic yacht with good crew and three equal Kings, not found on many vessels. You also do not find many lovely classics like this…. Based in St. Maarten, ULA sails the area between Antigua and the BVI….
