Description:

The 60 ft. Fontaine Pajot catamaran VIVO (2006) has sailed around the world twice. There have been plenty of upgrades. She carries 300 gallons of diesel; she has a 50 gallon watermaker; there is a dinghy with new engine, which she picked up in Tahiti in 2014…. An avid kiteboarder and liveaboard yacht owner, Kyle jumped at the opportunity to work for a shipyard in Grenada in 2013. So he set sail on his 37′ monohull from Charleston bound for Grenada, and he has been sailing the Eastern Caribbean ever since. This is his first time doing term charters, but they are an excellent crew! VIVOs teak walk-in cockpit seats eight around a dining table to port and two L-shaped settees to starboard. The walk-down sugarscoops offer great access for scuba diving, and Kyle dives and catches lobster consistently. Alicia is a baker. She specializes in fresh breads. She has a juicer aboard and squeezes fresh tropical fruits for guests. She has birthday cake equipment aboard and celebrates guests birthdays…. A photographer, responsible for updating the yachts website, she has lots of photography equipment aboard, including a 4K drone! The 3D Blueray projector movie night equipment can be set up inside or outside or completely out of sight. Alicia and Kyle have an amazing beach picnic set up, complete with tent. The Tentsile tree tent enables Alicia and Kyle to set guests up with a cooler and tent for some alone time on the beach. The crew is active. If guests are into hiking, the crew loves to hike and know where to go. Sports gear on VIVO includes a party island, a subwing (underwater flying!), two stand up paddle boards, double kayak, two wakeboards, two tubes, three Lazy Bunnz chairs for in water floating, full face snorkel masks, and bbq. VIVO’s dark cherry saloon with U-shaped settee to port and lounge along the forward wall offers lots of comfortable seating for everybody and opens to an attractively appointed cockpit in blue aft for indoor/outdoor living. A pop-up TV in the saloon doubles as a Playstation IV station. The yacht sleeps eight guests in three interior Queen cabins plus one exterior Queen cabin with access over the deck near the cockpit. This access is a 2 foot diameter round hatch in the deck that drops down into a spacious, Queen-berthed cabin, about a six foot drop. Guests need to be strong and agile to maneuver into and out of this “crew cabin.” It’s a tough one! The crew sleeps forward to port. All staterooms have black out blinds and climate controls. They are Happy Cabins with bright cotton spreads, and the crew run the AC all night.
