Built in 1998, the 150’ Trinity (USA) motor yacht, ATTITUDE, is owned by the interior decorating firm The Plaid Giraffe in Wichita, who replaced all the fabrics and soft furnishings in 2016. The owners blended the original classic feel of the yacht with a celebration of color, found mostly in the stunning sky lounge, and they added some additional personal touches as well, such as the enormous, hand blown, stem wine glasses that look like bubbles on the dining table. When the owners are aboard, they dine in the formal dining room, but there are two additional places to dine on ATTITUDE: the enormous round dining table on the upper aft deck, and the table on the sun deck. All the tables seat ten, but eight guests is more comfortable, and there is an extensive choice of Versachi table linens. The stewardesses on ATTITUDE competed in the Surf and Turf tablescape competition at the Antigua charter yacht show in December, 2016. Creatively put together, their table featured crab-shaped table mats and pink linen table napkins…. It was amazing. With sky lounge full of solid-colored silk and cotton fabrics in vibrant, warm, autumn colors and rainbows, many with a smokey sheen, ATTITUDE could almost be described as a folk boat. When entertaining, the crew serve champagne receptions with canapes in the yacht’s main saloon, which has comfortable seating. The foyer leading into the full beam master cabin has handsome marble floors in black and gold…. With new plumbing in 2016, the master cabin has his and her wardrobes and an enormous full beam bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and two-person glass shower. The tub faucets are gold… A private office offers powerful at-sea internet system with 8 WiFi points. The filtered air conditioning throughout the yacht is pumped straight from outside. Below are four additional guest cabins, two with King beds, one with Queen bed; the fourth is a Twin cabin with Pullman…. All cabins have a drinks fridge; all bathrooms have showers; all have Apple Satellite TV and movies on demand. Laundry service is provided. The galley and bridge received a refit in 2014. With all new Navtik equipment, the bridge has the state of the art navigation aids, plus stairs to the sun deck…. The sky lounge with comfortable couches in green silk, L-shaped couches, bar with stools (large enough for two stewardesses to work behind), and television, is an ideal place to enjoy movies and family time. The sun deck features a Jacuzzi with two TVs, sail awnings, arch for shade, wet bar, teak dining table, fridge, ice machine, and the stewardesses offer a fine cocktail show behind the bar there. With the yacht’s disco balls, the crew threw a themed cocktail party for brokers during the Antigua boat show, complete with strobe lights and multi colors. With 7 foot 2 inch draft and a captain who stationed ten years in the Turks and Caicos and knows all the Bahamian Islands, ATTITUDE is ideal for cruising the shallow, crystal clear waters of the Bahamas, where she bases during the summer. With cruising speed of 12 knots, she is economical on fuel for cruising the Eastern Caribbean, where she bases during the winter months. For charter for $112,000 a week (down from $142,000 a week), the yacht offers four jet skis, two windsurfers, scuba diving and scuba instruction, banana, wake board, water skis, and a 32’ Intrepid tender that is fully rigged for deep sea fishing. This is a wonderful yacht with a friendly, experienced crew of nine, captained by a young, peppy captain from South Africa, Donavan Clark. Chef Tracy, who entertained brokers with a 5-course luncheon during the boat show, won ‘Best Pasta Dish” during the charter chef cooking competition at the 2016 charter yacht show in Genoa, Italy….
ATTITUDE is available for charter in the Bahamas during the summer and fall and Eastern Caribbean during Winter 2018. Please click here for a PDF Photo Presentation, crew profile, and Sample Menu.
