Description:

BELLA VITA – 105’ catamaran with full beam cockpit with two enormous deck beds outboard of the two dining tables, each prettily set with beads and starfish, covered by a hard top fly bridge.  Having spent three months in Bali refitting, she was newly purchased, having been the private yacht of Richard Branson and now renamed and operated by Captain Oswalda and Briar, previously of the popular, 76’ charter catamaran Akasha of the Virgin Islands.  These two know chartering and the Virgin Islands well.  They are assisted by four other crew besides….  BELLA VITA accommodates eight guests in four main-deck guest cabins, each with windows, offering views of the Caribbean, each with lighted accent piece over the bed, each with air conditioning, each with private bathroom with vessel sinks, each with shower with glass surround, and the master stateroom and main saloon have Satellite television as well.  Two guest cabins have double beds that convert to twin cabins; all have King beds, except the fifth guest cabin, which is located below and has lower double and single beds on opposite sides of the cabin and shares a bathroom with the day head off the saloon, hence is used for children only; therefore, she takes families of ten only.  Oswalda and Briar love having children aboard.  BELLA VITA’s stylish, minimalist, highly varnished, wooden main saloon has rustic lanterns on the floor of varying sizes, a spacious day head, and stairs to the fly bridge, where there is a U-shaped settee around a dining table.  This area can be filled in with mattresses for sleeping under the stars.  Outboard of the table is another tier of settees higher up, offering views of the cruising ground. Forward of the main saloon is the hall off of which are the guest cabins, and forward of that is the full beam pilot house for steering.  A single toggle does all the steering and all the raising of the anchor.  The vessel was originally designed as a racing boat, before she became Mr. Branson’s Neckerbelle….  All the mattresses in the guest cabins are thick with pristine white sheets, and the yacht has an amazing, bimini covered,  21′ tender with 125 hp outboard that pulls everybody and often is used for exploring.

Available year round from Tortola or St.Thomas for $70,000 a week all inclusive for up to ten guests (family only), except $80,000 weekly for Christmas and/or New Years; summer months available in the Grenadine Islands.
