DEVINE SAILING – A 50’ Fountaine Pajot sailing catamaran, this yacht sails well!  The captain comes from monohulls and says DEVINE SAILING sails beautifully to windward.

Kim is the chef and Dick Stuart is the captain.  Dick is from Northern California who now lives in Puerto Rico.  He owns a Jeanneau 42’ monohull and has lived in the Virgin Islands since May 2017.  Kim lived in St Croix – these are an older crew but fit; Kim worked for 37 years in sales management; Kim owned her own company for 37 years; she was in healthcare and nursing.  She does yoga and has mats onboard for guests use.

Six cabins total are aboard DEVINE SAILING, three in each hull.  One aft is called the generator room because it’s located next to the generator which purrs.  Every cabin has its own thermostat, air conditioning and stall shower.  Beautiful cabins; the crew are happy to take ten guests and they sleep in the two singles amidships.  Each bed has six inch memory foam mattresses.  So eight guests is best – six or eight guests are best in four staterooms, as the crew take the midship cabins.

The flybridge has no bimini awning but it is comfortable for sitting; there are couches around tables, and there are fitted cushions for sunbathing.

The yacht is fun to sail, and there is an awning on the bow.

Based in the Virgin Islands through July 2023, the yacht sails from St. Thomas and has a BVI permit.  They prefer to pick up charters in Tortola, if the itinerary is going to sail around the BVI; if the itinerary is to stick to St. John, St. Croix, the Spanish Virgin Islands and St. Thomas, they prefer to pick up and drop off in St. Thomas.

Dean offers halyard jumping; guests are clicked onto the halyard which the dinghy uses to raise them up off the water high, and then they jump off, splashing into the water.  Fun for families.  The vessel has a subwing and many other sporting activities as well.
