Description:

Based in the South of France but willing to do charters in the East or Western Mediterranean, the 213’ Codacasa (Italy) motor yacht, DOUBLE DOWN, was built in 2010 and has six decks and sleeps 18 guests in 9 staterooms.  Four are below on the accommodation deck; three are located on the main deck, and two are on the upper deck.  The upper deck VIP double with walk in closet and ensuite bathroom connects to the master cabin, while the master cabin has a door that opens to the bow with breakfast table and the bed faces forward through windows overlooking the bow.  It has a private study.

The six decks include the tank deck, the accommodation deck, the main deck, the upper deck, the bridge deck, and the sun deck.  There’s also a garage for the tenders with beach club.  The yacht charters for 415,000 Euros a week in June and 455,000 Euros a week in July and August.

The Gangway opens to an enclosed aft deck lounge with electric doors that open into a beautiful main salon with wood floors and two round coffee tables on opposite sides of the cabin around two mirror images lounges facing each other.  It opens to a foyer with a grand piano in the center of the room, which is wholly dedicated to the piano.  Traditionally decorated, the saloon has varnished mahogany panelling, white carpets, glass tables, white couches, blue silk throw cushions, elegant lamps, and television and leads forwards to a dining table that seats 18.  A pantry and galley are located on the main deck nearby.  There’s an elevator to the lower deck, main deck, upper deck, and the bridge deck, as well as the sun deck.  Four cabins are below; two are twins with Pullmans and two are doubles, all with ensuite bathroom.  The main deck has a twin cabin and two double bedded cabins, and two staterooms are on the upper deck as mentioned.

The skylounge is a super large compartment with lots of windows all around, dining, and air conditioning, and it can be completely opened up to the out of doors.  The bridge deck has a cinema, an interior gym, a lounge with two bars, and bbq and Jacuzzi, and the sun deck is for sunbathing. A++++

The Chief & 2nd Stewardess team Cairine Whyte and Aly Merrill won 1st place for the table setting and Head Chef & Sous Chef Simon Phillips and Alisha King won 3rd place in the yachts over 55m category during the Greek charter yacht show in June 2017.
