New Year’s week is still available:
Dec 28 – Jan 4th, 2017
The best thing about the 65’ Privilege FELICIA, launched in 1999 is her English owner operators, Chris and Julie Bennett, who are now in their 8th year operating FELICIA in the British Virgin Islands. With experience comes fun and knowledge, which Chris and Julie share with guests.
Julie, an art student, is a talented chef! Last year they celebrated Valentine’s Day with guests, and Julie cooked an incredible Valentine’s Day evening meal, which looked as good as it must have tasted: Spinach & 3 cheese stuffed chicken breasts, roast rosemary potatoes with carrots & sautéed green beans with almonds & cranberries. Dessert was Hazelnut Mousse served in chocolate lace bowls with fresh strawberries.
On another charter in March, FELICIA’s guests spotted some whales close to shore and got some wonderful videos! We love the cheers of laughter that the breaching whales evoke:
If cruising the Mediterranean is about dressing up to go out at night, guests in the Virgin Islands do the opposite. They dress down…. Here are some fun pictures of FELICIA’S guests, dressed up as pirates to go bounty hunting at the Willy T on Norman Island. Felicia carries a costumes trunk!
Chartering a yacht is a fun way to celebrate a birthday. Here is a photo of some of Felicia’s guests blowing out a birthday cake candles…. Julie rose to the occasion and produced a beautiful cake!
FELICIA is an elegant yacht for eight guests/four couples…. Here is a picture of Julie’s beautifully set dining table.
The yacht has four Queen cabins, each with private bathroom…. One is a master cabin…. All have air conditioning, and there is television and streamed movies in each cabin, as well as satellite television in the master cabin and in the main saloon…..
FELICIA offers scuba diving. One 2-tank, rendezvous dive is included in the charter fee for up to 4 certified divers on full-week charters. Here is a video guests made, diving the Wreck of the Rhone, now a national park off Salt Island in the BVI. The 310’ Royal mail-steamer, RHONE was wrecked off the coast of Salt Island in the British Virgin Islands on October 29, 867 in a hurricane, killing 123 people. Rigged as a two-masted sailing brig that carried mail, passengers, horses, and cargo on regular scheduled routes between England, the Caribbean, and Brazil, Rhone‘s passenger capacity was 253 first class, 30 second class and 30 third class. The yacht sank rapidly, the bow section in 80 feet of water, the stern in 30 feet of water…. You can still see the bronze propeller, the second bronze propeller ever made. The Emperor of Brazil, Pedro II, had come aboard to see it in 1865….the yacht was only 2 years old…. Today the Rhone wreck is home to a school of enormous grouper, some weighing as much as 200 pounds….being 4 feet long….
FELICIA also carries a 15’ hard bottom inflatable dinghy with 90 hp outboard (seats 9), adult and children’s water skis, knee board, wake board, towing tube, ten sets of snorkel gear, 1 two-person kayak, trolling gear, and float mats.
New Years week: up to 8 guests – $33600 (includes 3 Queens + the King suite)
