GENESIS – 47’ Catana catamaran sloop, built in 2000, based year round in St.Vincent.  $10,800 a week all inclusive for two guests year round, except $11,900 weekly for Christmas or New Years.  Owner operators Peter annd Tracy offer their guests an incredible Caribbean experience.  Given that Grenada grows all its own food, this yacht is for foodies!

Available in the Grenadines – the yacht recommends St. Vincent to Grenada itineraries, or St. Lucia to Grenada, if ten days can be taken; or Martinique to Grenada is ideal if two weeks can be taken and you like sailing.  It’s easier to do a Grenada to Grenada charter, but the comfort level is better if you begin in St. Vincent and sail down wind, ending in Grenada.  The new international airport in St. Vincent is now open, making it easier to fly into St. Vincent with direct flights from New York and Miami.  Fly straight into St. Vincent, you no longer have to stop in Barbados.

Crew of 2 – Peter and Tracy Stejskal are owner operators, who were offering organic chocolate bars from Grenada to brokers when we were aboard in November, 2019….  Tracy was serving up Lambi (conch?) and barracuda from Grenada, and Mahi Mahi and Lionfish (excellent eating!) for the broker yacht hop.  She made octopus salad the day before; she made pickled shrimp. For anybody wanting a Caribbean culture experience, Tracy will read you well.

Organic Produce – Tracy shops at the Grenada green market, where everything is fresh.  So she doesn’t have to refrigerate food.  Vegetables are fresh off the vine, but items are seasonal.

Master Cabin – The full length of the starboard hull, the master cabin is the one and only guest cabin aboard GENESIS.  With King size bed with colorful cushions, windows, AC and fans, the cabin has an ensuite bathroom with large shower, and Tracy supplies organic, reef-safe toiletries, liquid and bar soap.

Large library of books

Sports gear:  Two bicycles, snorkeling gear and more!

Bow Seating:  An awning covers the entire forward deck, where a full size trampoline connects the two bows together.  Guests lie on them at sea and watch the dolphins swim underneath.

Crew experience: Married since 2001, Tracy and Peter have been living in the Grenadine Islands since 2006 – 13 years the sailing life, the Caribbean life.  The yacht is beautifully maintained and very comfortable for two guests.
