Description:

I LOVE THIS BOAT – Aptly named, I love this 145’ American-built boat, because she pulls out all the stops and does everything better.  Her designer maximizes outside space, each tier serving a different purpose.  So living moves from deck to deck, depending on purpose…..  As well, the vessel has an opulent, elegant Art Deco interior, plus an amazing, multi-colored waterfall in the master bathroom, and her lime fizz machine is a hit with everyone who cruises aboard.   Built in the United States in 2003, Christensen packs a lot into 145 feet, and she has a massive, big boat feel, a 30 foot beam.

Cruising the Eastern Caribbean for Winter 2019/2020 and possibly for Summer 2020 too, depending on charters, she might also cruise the Bahamas, and is available for $155,000 a week year round (including Holidays) except on occasion for $138,000 a week + 30% APA when she runs specials, as in January and February, 2020 in the Eastern Caribbean.

Tiered Stern with Beach Club- The aft main deck leads comfortably down to an enormous beach club, or what the crew calls the sports deck, because I LOVE THIS BOAT is a family oriented boat, offering enough room and sports gear to accommodate everyone.  Two Seabobs, two stand up paddle boards, loungers, two wave runners, water slide, dive gear and compressor – Rendezvous diving is offered; the crew don’t dive with guests but guests use the boat’s equipment and the crew utilize dive instructors from shore to dive with guests; they have local knowledge of the area and insurance.

Sun Deck – Bar with stools, and when I was aboard, a group of young people were gathered around the bar, laughing, enjoying a lime fizz.   Jacuzzi for ten, couches, BBQ, boats aft; the yacht gets lots of families; the boat is famous for her smoothie machine, daiquiris and the like. “They are immensely popular with everybody who cruises aboard.”  So there’s a bar on the top deck that serves Caribbean daiquiris.

Upper Aft Deck – When you see the size of the upper aft deck and the dining table there, and the space aft of it with sunbathing chairs, pulled into place immediately after the tenders are launched, you see how the designer successfully utilizes all the outdoor space to best advantage.  The upper aft deck is an enormous area, leading down to the main and sports decks, and up to the sun deck with bar.  Each area serves a different purpose. On the upper aft deck, it’s lunch and dinner….

Captain’s Bridge – Guests often take coffee with Captain Todd in the bridge.  In this case, guests are encouraged to visit Todd in the bridge; many guests visit him there.

Movie Night in the Sky Lounge – The crew serve cocktails in the sky lounge with art deco floors and do movie night; the stewardesses set the lights to evening dim, and everybody crowds around the 4th bar onboard (which is a lot for a 145 footer, the other three bars are on the main aft, saloon, and sun deck.)  Everybody pulls up a chair, the yacht gets lots of families.  Space flows.

Main Deck Saloon – Amazing black and white art deco floor from the Twenties!  Enjoy!

Guest Giveaways – The yacht has lots of guest giveaways – bags of “habitual swag,” – boat-monogrammed T-shirts, sunglasses; guests feel included, perfect for going ashore in…. In the Virgin Islands, it’s customary to dress up at night and go ashore in swag….

Amazing Master Bathroom with Fountain – Divine, elegant master stateroom located on the main deck with lovely sconces and an amazing bathroom with fountain shower with multicolor lights – gift bags, large couch, office, elegant, opulent, art deco floor in foyer.

Guest Staterooms -2 mirror image Queen VIP Cabins…. “It’s nice to give two couples the same appointments,” – two twin cabins, each one a little different.  All have beautiful bathrooms, thick mattresses, piped music….

2019 Refit – Built in 2003, a 20 year old boat takes a lot to maintain, so the vessel just came out of the yard, where the gold leaf handles on the doors were redipped, to give an idea of the details; each cabin has air purifiers and dehumidifiers that keep the air fresh.

The Crew – Chief stewardess Katie showed me around; dressed in gray dress, she explained that the 7 crew consists of two stewardesses, a first mate, boson, her American captain Todd Likens, chef, and engineer, and they are as nice as they can be!

Homestyle Galley – located on the main deck, the large, home-style galley has classic kitchen-type cupboards, beveled marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, views, and the crew encourages guests to enter and chat with the chef.  Although there are windows all around, a black out window between the galley and dining room rolls down, aiding the crew in service.

Port Seating on Bow – One more outdoor space worth mentioning is the King size sunbathing bed located on the coach roof forward, perfect for watching the yacht come into harbor, the sun tanning area with music.
