David and Emily, captain and first mate aboard the 50′ Fontaine Pajot Saba sailing catamaran, LADY CATRON, have sailed over 8000 miles together. Meeting in Hawaii, where Emily worked as a private chef, they married and purchased their own boat in Mexico, and now they are looking forward to exploring the BVI with all ages of clientele but especially children, as David and Emily are massively into wakeboarding and watersports. They look forward to sharing their enthusiasm with guests. Emily says, “chartering is right down our alley.”
Lady Catron is perfectly beautiful inside and out. Her deck saloon with galley and L-shaped seating opens to a beautiful outdoor saloon, the cockpit with dining table and bench settees. How pretty it is! That leads up stairs to a versatile fly bridge without an awning, but David says this enables him to be see the sails and trim them easily, according to the wind direction. With an awning it’s harder to see the sails. David has a 100 ton license and enjoys teaching sailing…. The fly bridge is versatile, because the furniture can either be laid flat to become fitted deck beds or a U-shaped bench for sitting up. The views from up there are stunning; it’s the place to go to watch the sun set! Surround sound speakers are located around the ship, including the bow, which has table, bench seating, bean bags, deck beds, and trampolines (nets between the pontoons), a wonderful place to sit at sea.
The yacht sleeps six to eight guests in three large and one smaller guest double, and what beautiful cabins they are. Folded white towels with creams in sachets rest on white bedspreads with seahorse and wool throws. One stateroom is a spacious master with his and her closets and separate shower and WC. Every stateroom has its own bathroom.
LADY CATRON is available year round from St. Thomas, USVI, a wonderful charter vessel and crew!
