Description:

PRIME TIME – This excellent 88’ one-off  (custom) Nordlund motor yacht, built in 2000 offers all-inclusive, half-board charters with captain and chef for up to six or seven guests in three staterooms plus Murphy bed; the weekly rate of $19,200 for 1-7 guests includes fuel and all the ship’s operating costs, 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches, & 2 evening meals; the rest of the meals are not included, so guests can dine ashore and support the local economy.

The yacht sat for 12 years not being used; her engines have only 4000 hours on them.

Year round Availability from Tortola – 12 months a year, the yacht will operate out of Tortola, moving forward.  There’s a $750 delivery fee to pick up/visit the US Virgin Islands, so please fly into the BVI, Tortola.

Christmas/New Year’s Rate:  $23,000/wk inclusive halfboard from Tortola for up to 7 guests max in 3 staterooms.

Second Charter Season – Just two crew aboard, Captain Joe Standish has run yachts in the Caribbean for a long time. Michael from Grenada is the first mate/chef, who serves breakfast and lunch aboard only.  Five evening meals and two lunches are not included in the fee, so guests can dine ashore and not have to pay for that meal twice, once aboard and a second time ashore. This offers a great way to support the local economy ashore and get to know the people.  A professional chef can be provided if evening meals are required aboard.

Massive Yacht –  Big, hefty, beamy, luxurious, stabilized, air conditioned comfort is offered in the saloon with gray couches and arm chairs and lots of space, plus television with Direct TV.

Tender with 70 hp outboard has music, and the yacht carries wakeboards, tube, and all manner of sports equipment.

Leading Forward from the Saloon – There’s a dining room and day head forward of the saloon, beyond which is the navigation station, which Captain Joe never uses, as there’s a second steering station on the fly bridge, which is a lot more useful in the tropics.  An enormous country kitchen lies forward of that; guests watch the news there, an enormous area with galley along the aft wall and lounge along the forward wall.  It acts as a second saloon.

Below – a Murphy bed greets you in the hall below, leading to the guest cabins aft.  This Murphy bed is for a seventh passenger or a third crew.  There’s a Twin stateroom with lower side by side single beds; there’s a TV in the Cabin and cedar-lined closet.  Washer and dryer in hall….  Queen VIP cabin has centerline Queen bed and robes.  Full Beam master cabin aft with centerline King bed, cedar-lined closets, Direct TV, DVD, his and her bathrooms, joined by an enormous shower, and vanity.

Enormous fly bridge!  Steering wheel, wet bar, lots of seating; sun chairs, shade.

Day Charters – Joe has lived in the Virgin Islands for 20 years.  Since 1999 he owns his own charter company, doing day charters.  He will do day charters on PRIME TIME but prefers term charters.
