What a team, the couple who run this deluxe 52′ Lagoon catamaran, RUMBA – Ian and Zoe!  Both are seasoned sailors.  Ian from Utah, a blond surfer type, sailed the Caribbean from the age of 8 with his grand father. Then he got his start in chartering in Seattle.  From there he got his captain’s license, while working on a 70′ power yacht.  Since then he has completed over 300 charters and says, “I’ve never had a bad review yet.”  Zoe likewise is world sailor.  She sailed all the way from British Columbia to Nova Scotia on her parents boat, growing up on the sea while doing this, and now she has a two year culinary arts degree.  This is an accomplished team.  Furthermore, Ian plays the guitar, well enough to play for guests.

Rumba is a stunning Lagoon 520 that offers four large queen berths plus one bunk bed cabin with gorgeous seafoam green spreads.  Each has its own ensuite bathroom including electric heads, vanity and separate showers. Cabins and yacht offer wonderful natural lighting and great ventilation with full custom air-conditioning. The salon will seat guests in comfort for lounging or dining with the exterior offering alfresco dining also for up all guests. Top deck seating and lounge area in front of helm plus forward lower deck lounge area behind trampolines make this charter yacht a spacious gem. With numerous lounging areas, there is plenty of space for gathering as a group or finding a private place for one or two to enjoy relax.

BVI PORT FEE: Add $400 each end for BVI ports other than West End or Jost.
If cruising area includes BVI, rates are PLUS permits, licenses and fees which are to be paid by client.

SLEEP ABOARD: Sleep aboard the night before charter dates. Available for $400 per cabin per night, with a 3 cabin minimum. Includes boarding after 4pm, snacks, welcome cocktails & continental breakfast. Dinner is to be taken ashore at client expense. EXCLUDES: Christmas and New Year’s weeks.

HALF-BOARD OPTION: Includes 7 breakfasts, 4 lunches & 3 dinners, happy hour canapes, standard ships bar and snacks. Other meals ashore at client expense.
