Description:

SHOOTING STAR – 64’ Custom Sloop, built in 2008, a high performance sailing vessel that offers out of door dining and she has lots and lots of room in both her cockpit and main saloon for six to eight guests.

2019 Refit: New Machinery and servicing; the AC got an upgrade – Winter 2019/2020 they upgraded the rigging.

Crew – Captain Nicolas has been aboard two years.  Assisted by his wife, Masha, their job is to give guests a real sailing experience and to show guests as much of the real authentic experience of Greece as possible.  They hail from Syros, a remote, traditional place; they seek such places out; they like to offer barbeques on the beach; explore shipwrecks, visit good snorkeling places; Nick loves to free dive; the crew act as guides; they get away from tourist spots; cute, blond and vivacious, Masha is from Russia; Nick is half French/half Greek – they work as a team; he helps her inside as she helps him outside; Masha likes cooking Greek food; uses only fresh organic ingredients; they do not buy vegetables from the supermarkets; they go to the farms

Cuisine – Mediterranean cuisines, Italian, Japanese menus all are available to guests with Masha in command.  Masha loves to prepare Greek food and sushi.  They love fishing; they love barbeques on the beach.

Sleeps six to eight Guests – the Master converts to two cabins, offering either a full beam double, or a wall slides in down the center of the cabin, dividing the stateroom into two double cabins, offering double beds in each, and there are two private guest bathrooms here.  All the cabins are color coordinated; all have beautiful cotton bed spreads, white sheets, fresh pillows, and rolled monogrammed towels; hats and Turkish towels are draped over the beds; Two aft cabins have King size beds that convert to lower twin beds on opposite sides of the cabin, ideal for families.  One cabin had a foosball kit display; the other a coloring book display, set up for children.  The crew cabin is forward, located over the deck, giving guests total privacy aft.

Sailing Performance – the yachts performs beautifully under sail, but there’s an engine as well that enables the yacht to travel at ten knots cruising speed; it makes the map smaller!  They are open to starting cruises in the Cyclades….or ending there (one way charters.)
