WONDERLAND – This exquisite 122’ Delta motor yacht, built in 1996 in the United States was one of my favorite yachts at the 2019 Antigua charter yacht show and sports a 2019 ‘Wonderland’ interior refit.  Stewardesses had set the dining room table with a breathtaking Alice in Wonderland-themed table scape, complete with rabbits, chicks and toadstools.  It was enchanting!

Available in the Eastern Caribbean for Winter 2019/2020 for $70,000 a week + 30% APA + Gratuity, she will charge $80,000 weekly for Christmas and New Year, and during the Summer 2020, she will be available for charter in the Bahamas (the Exumas) and maybe the Turks and Caicos.  Summer 2021 is available for charter in North America and Alaska and Winter 2021 again in the Eastern Caribbean.

Crew of 6 – Fun-loving, New Zealand Captain Kevin Nauta is assisted by a professional crew of five, looking to give guests 100% satisfaction.  Oriented toward service, “creativity is our main idea onboard, and we love families,” said Kevin.  The Wonderland crew won a prize for their table scape during the 2019 Antigua charter yacht show.

Saloon – marvelous Lilliputian arm chairs in bright fabrics, white couches and blue bucket chairs, white paneling, sconce lamps in chrome, lots of air conditioning keeps the humidity out.

Two 2000 hp engines – The beam is 25 feet, and the yacht has zero-speed stabilizers.  Both engines are 2000 hp and reach cruising speeds of 12 knots at 25/gallons per hour per engine.  With generator running, the yacht consumes 60 gallons per hour underway.  The yacht has a planning hull; she’s fast.  “Fast for us is 17 knots, which we do in emergencies only; we cruise at 12 knots,” said Kevin.

Fly Bridge – This area is dedicated to operating the yacht with steering and Bimini awning, but there is a small guest area too with Jacuzzi, seating, shade, and it offers great views.  The captain drives from the bridge too.

Upper Aft Deck is used to store tenders and sports gear – The upper aft deck is called the boat deck, because the yacht keeps her tenders aft, where there is a crane and two jet skis.  Once at anchor, the crew removes the boats; an awning covers the whole area, and underneath is U-shaped seating in shade and is a popular place to serve lunch.

Sky Lounge – The boat deck opens to the sky lounge, where the purples pop.  A cozy, air conditioned sitting room, space flows, and guests gather here around the bar before dinner.  An enormous day head is nearby with “Where the Wild Things Are”-themed wall paper – fun!  After dinner, guests gather here again to watch TV.  Forward of the sky lounge is the captain’s bridge, where guests are invited to join the captain and crew for conversation any time.

Sleeps 8 guests in 4 Stateroom:  Main deck VIP Queen + 3 staterooms on the lower deck, including the master King + 1 Guest Queen + 1 Twin cabin, all with private bathroom.

Main Deck VIP – Green wool throw blanket, air conditioning, blond sconce lighting, pop art.

Lower Staterooms – Beautiful cabins with wool throw blankets, all different colors, blond varnished paneling.  The master staterooms has a ton of space with electric blue head board with purple wool throw blanket draped on the bed, wall paper, and his and her bathrooms joined by a large marble steam shower.  His and her wardrobes and his and her vanities complete the space.

Scuba Diving – Scuba diving tanks and BCs, compressor, and the first mate is a dive instructor; guests can dive from the ship; Kevin arranges a shore diver to join along too, so guests need not have prior dive experience to dive from the ship.
